Responsibilities:

The incumbent is responsible for

• Plan and assign the Reconfiguration team’s workload
  
• Undertake reconfiguration work
  
• Review and update work procedures based on best practices and required workflow
  
• Actively participate in the ‘continuous improvement’ programme
  
• Achieve productivity, service, and quality targets as set for the department
  
• Produce reports, on departmental activity and achievement metrics
  
• Staff induction, training, appraisal and development
  
• Departmental adherence to workplace Health and Safety good practice and legislative requirements
  
• Proactively communicate with Inventory Planning, Repair, CSR and Warehouse staff to ensure that customer service and company business targets are met
  
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in electronics related field
  
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing with supervisory skills
  
• Experience with Supervision of a team undertaking electro-mechanical repairs in a service target driven environment
  
• Numerate and literate; PC literate; written & oral fluency in English
  
• Able to sustain attention to detail, follow procedures, and address problems in a thorough, logical manner
  
• Knowledge of Quality Procedures
  
• Similar working experience with assembly line in a lean environment
  
• Competent in rework or repair of PCBs
  
• Competent in software programmes and familiar with ERP systems
