Responsibilities:

The incumbent is responsible for

  • Follow up purchasing plan and coordinate purchase orders and payment with vendors
  • Responsible for preparing and administering purchase orders to vendors for specific products
  • Import and export coordination with suppliers, freight forwarder and 3PL warehouse
  • Responsible for vendor communications regarding order status, delivery and costs

Requirements:

  • Diploma in logistics management or business management related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experiences in MS Office Suite and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of all purchasing/logistic job functions and Customs requirements
  • Excellent presentation and communication
  • Knowledge of Singapore Customs import/export requirements, all Customs documentation completion and International tariff treatments
  • Preferably to have experience in systems like Baan, Oracle ERP or SAP
