SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE
(Singapore - Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will have responsibility for software testing and documentation for a various range of analyzers and generators products for storage protocol. This will include:
  • Preparing and executing testing procedures
  • Defining test plan, test cases from the customer requirements
  • Preparing documentation such as user requirements, test plans, test cases, user manual, online help files, etc
• The candidate will interface with hardware and software team in carrying out test activities and ensure that software is tested adequately
• The successful candidate has to update, track & report issues found during testing and ensure proper follow-up as well as make recommendations to development team by providing feedback to enhance software quality

Requirements:

• We are looking for a software tester with at least 2 years of Software Development or Testing Experience preferably exposed in the hard disk drive industry
• Proficiency in C/C++ language is a must
• He should be experienced in developing Test Plans and Procedures and knowledgeable in testing methodologies as well as Test Cases execution and well versed in using Defects reporting tools & preparing Test Reports
• Having knowledge in automated testing tools (WinRunner) and scripting (Perl, TCL, VBScript) will be greatly desirable.
• Possess strong trouble-shooting skills, attention to details and good communication skills.
• Working experience with protocol analyzers will be useful.
• Experience in either one of the protocols Serial ATA, Serial Attached SCSI, Fibre Channel, PCI Express
