Process & Back Office Manager

Working with Process & Back Office Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing building the Back Office function including determining roles required and setup of workspace. Also you will focus on the effective documentation of operational processes including risk assessment.

You will be required to be involved in process improvement and consistent documentation work and ensure new processess and updates to existing processes are documented with consideration given to best practice techniques. You will be responsible to conduct thorough analysis to determine the most efficient operational processes, using best practice techniques and leveraging information sourced from support officer. You will also be involved in managing the implemention of operational processes to achieve standardisation within the function to facilitate productivity gains and reduction in non lending losses and also recommend to the business regarding process improvements to existing business processes.

You will be involved in conducting analysis of the operational processes to determine requirements for the design and installation of a back office liaise with property team and technology support team to draft floorspace and location requirements and perform all necessary functions, with installation of power and information backup systems. Planning proactively and implementing a recruitment plan to staff the back office function and provide support consultancy and recommendations to stakeholders about recruitment processes will be another key area of responsibility in this role. You will proactively be involved in driving improved performance and efficiency through encouraging knowledge sharing within the Process and Back Office Support team and support the creation of a culture of collaboration, trust, openness, integrity and acknowledgement between internal clients and suppliers and deliver regular, effective communications to clients.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Banking/ Finance would be an advantage. Strong analytical and problem solving skills is key to this role. Also you will be expected to have excellent planning skills with a strategic outlook and possess well developed verbal and written communication. You are also required to have strong organisational skills, experience at managing multiple projects and in process mapping and redesign, including experience with mapping tools and analysis frameworks. You will need to be flexibile to work with people at all levels across the organisation and are required to possess computer skills including MS Office, MS Project and IGRAPHIX’s. Ability to lead a team within process driven environment is another key requirement for this role.
