Responsibilities:

  • To initiate,organise and co-ordinate the marketing activities for a major group of brand in order to develop and maintain strong brand awareness and maximise short and long terms sales volume and profits;
  • Develop long and short term business and marketing plans for major brands to meet share, volume and profit objectives;
  • Identify long term opportunities within the market place and prepare plans to develop, test and launch new products to exploit them;
  • Prepare and have agreed the implementation programmes for comprehensive advertising and promotional programmes to provide maximum sales target and effective market exposure of brands;
  • Develop and monitor profit awareness of each product within the organisation and recomending alternative in pricing as necessary;
  • Monitor performance of products againts plan and carry out changes to the plan if necessary to ensure that targets are achieve;
  • Train and motivate a team of Brand and manage an effective marketing unit to achieve the best performance;
  • Evaluate and recommend product advertising strategies to be agreed by the Marketing Director.

Requirements:

  • Candidate should have 5 years experience as Senior Brand Manager or 3 years as Marketing Manager;
  • Solid knowledge and hands on experience within brand management function with at least 10 years exposure in the said function;
  • High Communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Solid background experience from Consumer Goods or Tobacco industries.
