Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates who will be providing process and equipment engineering support across our product lines, from new process/equipment introduction through to high-volume production, and who can successfully interface with design, process, test and reliability engineering in order to drive issues to resolution. As we are a start-up organization, you are expected to be hands-on in your process and equipment engineering support role.
Your job responsibilities will ultimately include:
- To establish the tools and process baseline from startups through daily operations.
- To optimize and develop new recipes for process improvement, yield gains, defects improvement and backend reliability improvement.
- To support process & equipment through new product introduction and volume ramp.
- To establish and maintain thin film process specs, set-up procedures, and on-going calibration and preventive maintenance schedules on wafer fab equipment and processes.
- The introduction of new front-end equipment to support new-product introduction, volume ramp, and production efficiency improvements.
- Assist in developing equipment maintenance strategies and procedures, and engaging vendors on service contracts.
- Involving in training process and maintenance personnel.
- Analyzing and improving equipment performance, leading maintenance cost reduction activities, and developing specifications and guidelines for new semiconductor equipment installations.
- Trouble-shooting line issues such as tool events, yield issues and jobs on-hold
- Establishing and maintaining manufacturing techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Microelectronics/Physics/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 yrs experience of front-end wafer fab equipment support, including thin-film processes and tools, plasma systems, pneumatics, gas management systems, leak checking/RGA, and component-level electronics checking
- Understanding of safety, equipment installation and environmental control issues
- Good interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills. Good team player.
