Responsibilities:
Tasks and responsibilities:
•Coaching of system architecture group, enhancing the existing level
•Definition of subsystems of mobile phones
•Challenging suppliers on proposed architectures
•Participate in the software /hardware design and development
•Involvement in requirements management and clarification
•Independent handling of complex problems
•Knowledge of software process and product requirements
•Leading technical investigations of applications provided by 3’rd parties
(Based in Beijing)
Skills and requirements:
•MS in CS/EE with 6 years or BS with 8 years working experience in system development, experience in Telecom/Cellular mobile/PDA preferred;
•Proficient in C/C++ programming
•Familiar with software development methodologies such as OOA/OOD
•Very good technical knowledge and experience, to understand and analyze technical problems and solutions
•Knowledge and experience in CE (Consumer Electronic) devices, especially in mobile phones
•Proficient in embedded system architecture
•Understanding of L1 Protocol Stack (GSM/WCDMA/TD SCDMA)
•Understanding of traditional UI and traditional applications (such as PIM, SMS, call set up etc…)
•Understanding of embedded middleware underneath the Open Mobile Application
•Understanding of low level RTOS (multitasking/messaging for instance between tasks) and device driver/ peripheral
•Understanding of cellular Voice (and Protocol Stack and STK) and cellular Data (packed switched)
•Understanding of connectivity protocols (BT, IrDA, WLAN, USB)
•understanding of abstraction layer
•Knowledge of OMA enablers (such as IMPS, Wireless Village, DRM2.0, DM etc… )
•Knowledge of the CODEC layer and the upper layer application (such as 324M)
•Extensive knowledge of JVM nor Multimedia Application Layer
•Application integration experience
•Ability to work well and contribute both as an individual or team
•Very good English, both written and oral
