Requirements:Our client, a leading offshore driller, is looking for a Chief Engineer
Supervises and controls the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, electronics, subsea.
High school diploma or equivalent with valid unlimited Chief Engineer License (Class 1 Motor – above 3000kW).
Knowledge of all technical calculations required for the safe operation of the drilling unit and basic computer skills.
Leads the discipline supervisor and ensures that all subordinates have the necessary skills and experience to fulfill their assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintains control over the rig’s Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) and associated computer database and ensures that the permit to work and isolation systems are strictly adhered to in the maintenance department.
Demonstrates commitment to Company safety policies through leadership and guidance.
