PT IDC Indonesia has a position for an entry level position Assoc Market Analyst, based in our Jakarta office.
The successful candidate will possess both a keen analytical sense, be someone who is comfortable and enjoys working with data and has an ability to convey findings with a crisp and concise writing style. Strong writing skills are required and professional writing samples should be submitted with your resume.

Reporting to the Sr Research Manager, the primary responsibilities of this position include:

• Tracking, analyzing and market sizing on a quarterly basis on the IT hardware market in Indonesia.
  
• Conduct primary interviews with vendors in the country
  
• Analyze the competitive landscape and forecast the market
  
• Develop a good understanding of emerging products and technologies and their impact on the market
  
• Write succinct and concise quarterly updates/ bulletins and reports
  
• Handle client inquiries

Requirements:

Interested individuals that meet the following minimum requirements are encouraged to apply:

• Individuals with a minimum of 1 year job experience in a market research firm, a market intelligence division of an industry leader or recent candidates from reputable universities.
  
• Minimum university or college degree, BA, BSc or equivalent - Economics, IT, or Statistics degrees preferred
  
• Numerically inclined with a high degree of comfort with market metrics and an understanding of economic measures and concepts
  
• Written and verbal fluency in English (mandatory)
  
• Additional languages are advantageous
  
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint required, statistical programs knowledge, such as SPSS, advantageous
  
• Citizens of Indonesia, Permanent Residents, or those currently authorized to work in Indonesia
